PADI OPEN WATER DIVER
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is the first qualification level for recreational SCUBA divers. The course which is conducted by our team of professional PADI instructors, is fun, informative and exciting.
No previous diving experience is required to join the course, you just have to be over 10 years of age, have adequate swimming skills and medically fit.

The course takes 4 days to complete and consists of 3 parts.
-
Theory. The theory part of the course can be conducted in the classroom at our divecentre, or ONLINE as a self-study exercise. You will study the basic principals of scuba diving and learn about the equipment that you will be using.
-
Confined Water. The confined water portions of the course take place in the shallow area of the sea in front of the divecentre. During this part of the course your instructor will guide you through exercises and safety procedures to build your confidence, before progressing to the open water.
-
Open Water Dives. There are 4 Open Water dives to do before completing your course and becoming a qualified PADI Open Water Diver. During these dives you will explore the local reefs, which are teeming with coral and fish life.
Now that you are an Open Water Diver and qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres anywhere in the world, the good news is, that this is just the beginning – there are many more diving experiences awaiting you.
